The Martin wrestling team Wednesday night for the first time in 10 years competed without the assistance of a co-op.
The Clippers knocked off No. 9-ranked Gobles 44-26 and then beat their former co-op partner Delton 53-27 to start the year with a dual meet record of 2-0.
“We are extremely proud of the team tonight,” said coach Logan Curry. “I would also like to give a shoutout to our girls’ team. We have five members on the team, four of them competed tonight and they did an amazing job for their first time.”
