The community of Martin will celebrate “Hometown Day” all day Saturday, July 15.

The festival will include a car show at Clippers Cafe on the south side of town at 1566 10th St. There is a $10 entry fee and prizes will be awarded.

A craft show will get under way at 10 a.m. on Templeton Street adjacent to the fire station. The show will last until 2 p.m.

Kids’ activities, face painting and the smokehouse, which teaches children the best ways to escape a house fire, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. downtown.

Entries for the air baking contest will be due at 10 a.m. at Clippers Cafe and the contest will be judged at noon.

A cornhole tournament is scheduled for 4:15 p.m.

Music will start at the Clippers Cafe parking lot at 5 p.m. Performers will include the Onion Kings, Bourbon Legend and Dew South.
