The community of Martin will celebrate its fourth annual Hometown Day Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. in the heart of the village.

A car show at the Clippers Cafe parking lot will kick off the day’s activities  at 9 a.m. with a $10 entrance fee and awards to be presented. Proceeds will be used to help fund the Martin Rec League and Back to School Basics program.

A craft show will be set up at 10 a.m. at the Martin Township Hall and Fire Department. Crafters and vendors are welcome to take part. A booth will cost $10.

Free kids’ activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the grassy area between the fire station and water tower. Included will be bounce houses, games and an inflatable water slide.

Food trucks will be present throughout the day, featuring Red’s Roasted Coffee, Taqueria Tomattos and Kona Ice.

The Farmers’ Market will be selling fresh local produce.

A pie baking contest will begin with judging at noon at the Clippers Cafe on 10th Street downtown. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places. Sara DeHaan will handle questions about rules.

A double elimination cornhole tournament is scheduled for 4 p.m. Clippers Cafe with a $30 entry fee per team. Proceeds will help Shaylee Elkins, who is fighting leukemia.

Live music will be provided by “Dew South,” “The Onion Kings” and “Timeless Acoustic Duo”, beginning  at 5 p.m.
