Mary Brainard, 87, of Hopkins died in her sleep at home on Wednesday, July 8.
Mary loved her family and her cat, Sugar. She also loved to cook and bake.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 69 years, Gordon; daughter Ruthie; son Bub (Brenda); grandchildren Tony (Stacey), David (Jennifer), Whitney, Aaron (Britany), and Cody (Katie); great-grandchildren Kelli, Joshua, Samantha, Skylar, and Nick; brothers and sister Jack and Carleen Hartman, Albert Sonny Green, Elizabeth (Sookey) Teed; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Nellie Green and sister Kathy Green.
A small family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan.
