Ilene M. Jackiewicz, of Hopkins, died Monday, Aug. 10,  at her home. She was 74.

Mrs. Jackiewicz was born in Byron Township, the daughter of Casper and Mary (Fein) Kiel. Ilene graduated from Byron Center High School, Class of 1958, she worked for J.C. Penny’s in Kentwood for over 13 years. Ilene was a faithful member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Hank; four children: Ron Jackiewicz, Mary and Faron Bowen, Jeff and Belinda Jackiewicz, Joel and Amy Jackiewicz; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; her brother, Tom and Margo Kiel, her sister, Marilyn Walker; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.

Friends may meet with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday  at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hilliards, Rev. Fr. Harry Potter, Celebrant. Private interment at the Church Cemetery.
