Memorial communion service Thursday for Jim Sevigny, 50

James Scott Sevigny, age 50, of Wayland, died Monday, March 9.4079991_300x300_1

Jim was a diesel technician at South Kent Truck Sales. He was a former semi-pro football player who loved to watch the Chicago Bears, Da Bears. Jim had a passion for stock car racing and was on the pit crew for Bob Senneker #84.

Jim is survived by his sons Tyler and Austin Sevigny; his parents Orlys and Dick Sevigny; his brothers and sister: Renee Sevigny and Doug Goodwin, Rick Sevigny and Kathy Stafford, Mike and Karen Sevigny, Bob and Donna Sevigny, and Tom and Connie Sevigny; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends may visit with Jim’s family from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, North Main Street, Wayland. A memorial communion service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at St. Therese Catholic Church with Deacon Mark Chrusciel presiding.

Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the family for expenses.
