Frances E. Tuttle, 86, of Hopkins died Oct. 24 in Wyoming, Mich., after a series of health complications.

Born July 18, 1936, in Grand Rapids to Royal and Helen (Beebe) Daugherty, she moved to Hopkins in 1962 and married William Tuttle on Nov. 2 of that year. William died in March 2016.

Frances spent her married life as a homemaker and treasured caring for children, grandchildren and great-granchildren. She also enjoyed square dancing and bargain shopping.

She is survived by children Alice Tuttle, Pam (Dave) Warner and Carleen (Randy) Marklevitz, grandchildren Scott (Stacey) Marklevitz, Chad (Allison) Brummel, Matthew (Kendra) Warner, seven great-grandchildren, brother Harvey (Ann) Dougherty, a special niece Carla Kruger and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial luncheon is planned at the Knights of Columbus Hall on 135th Avenue in Hilliards from 1 to 4 p.m . Saturday, Nov. 12. Private graveside services will be at a later date.
