Barbara A. Rook, age 86, died Tuesday, June 27.

She was the most kind, sweet, loving, and beautiful woman. She always kept a positive attitude. Barbara touched the hearts of all whom she met.

She married Frank Rook and together they had two children Theresa and Stephanie. Barb had three grandchildren April Hollon, Franklin Meade and Natasha Martinez; and three great-grandchildren Keigen, Axl, and Lillian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; and parents Mike and Bessy Novosel. Her surviving siblings are Richard Novosel, Betty Schneider-Krulac, Nancy Carpenter; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 159 131st Ave., with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Barb will be laid to rest next to Frank at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plainwell,
