Larry G. Bixler, age 79, of Shelbyville, died Monday, July 29.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1944, in Spencer, Ind., to Allen an d Ruby Bixler.
Larry married Linda Shoop on June 27, 1964, in Grand Rapids. Together they shared 60 years of marriage.
He worked as a truck driver for more than years. Larry enjoyed working on his 1946 Ford Coupe.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughter, Pam (Chad) Anda; grandchildren, Brandon, Ed (Vanessa), Nathan (Jessica), Bethany, Kristen. Trevor and Katelyn; five great-grandchildren; siblings, twin brother, Garry, Dwight, Bernard, Belva and Linda Sue.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Patty; and two sons, Ronnie and Larry.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Ada Bible Church, Kentwood Campus, 2045 68th St. SE, Caledonia. A luncheon will follow.
