Ralph Donald Long, Jr., 59, of Wayland, died Thursday, May 16, at The Laurels of Sandy Creek.

Born Dec. 30, 1959, in Mississippi, he was the son of the late Ralph Donald Long, Sr. and Noreen Jones. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked as a Diesel Mechanic and Limo Driver.

Besides his wife Traci Conrad, he is survived by his nine children, Carl (Danyel) Stoken-Long, Kellie (Chuck) Brand-Brooks and their mother, Dottie (Brand) Mathews; Michael (Rachel) Cooper-Stebbins, Steve (Heather) Braska-Stebbins, Pamela (Scott) Stebbins-Mikula and their mother, Kathy Chachulski; and Amanda Conrad, Jessica (Kyle) Conrad-Schut, Brianna Carlson, Zachary Carlson and their mother, Traci; thirteen grandchildren, Douglas, Andrea, Anthony, Aleacia, Cierah, Dakota, Alana, Owen, Evan, Devin, Landen, Drew and Arielle; two brothers, Michael Billingsley and Bobby Jones; and a sister, Rochelle Long.

Along with his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his stepmother, Marguerite Long; a brother, Johnny Jones; and his two best friends, Jimbo Peters and Frank Medina.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
