Memorial service for Alfred Vaughan, 79, will be Saturday, Jan. 2

Alfred Vaughan, age 79, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Dec. 17.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years Nancy (Pike), son Tod (Tonya), daughter-in-law Tarma, sister Beatrice (Don) Narden and grandchildren Jadene, Jeremiah (Jazmine), Jacob (Rechel) and Treavor Vaughan.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Harriet, brother Walker and son Jay.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 2, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 280 Starr Road, Plainwell.
