Wanda K. (Vert) Stoffers, 61, of Hopkins, died Sunday, Sept. 16, at her home.
Born Feb. 25, 1957, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Host) Vert and was the wife of the late Wayne Jack Stoffers.
Mrs. Stoffers was a member of Friendship Bible Church and enjoyed playing bingo. She will be remembered as a kind woman who would do anything she could for those she cared about. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandson were the light of her life and she always put their needs ahead of her own.
Mrs. Stoffers is survived by her daughters, Katherine Millan, Rebecca Miller and husband Ronald and Nickee Hendricks and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Ron and Brittany Millan, and James and Matthew Miller; great-grandson, Skyler Stoffers; sisters, Connie Vruggink, Linda Vert and Dave Whiting, Sharon Sandoval and Shelly Reindle and husband Duane; her father-in-law, Wayne Stoffers, Sr.; stepfather-in-law, Frank Wanegeshik; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Stoffers; granddaughter, Cherokee Stoffers; sister, Karen Cochran; brother-in-law, Colin Vruggink; and stepmother-in-law, Millie Wanegeshik.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21
