Patricia Kelly, age 72, of Dorr, died Wednesday, April 4.

Patricia was the neighborhood mother, she liked her house to be the “party house,” but most of all, she loved her grandchildren. She found comfort and support through the Birth Mom’s group of Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.

She was also a part of the adoption identity movement. Patricia and “Kelly” were strong supporters of many Dorr community projects.

She is survived by her children Lee (Karen) Kelly, Tim (Cassandra) Kelly, Howard Kelly, Fred (Julia) Kelly, Patrick (Ashley) Kelly, Amy Kelly; many grandchildren; sister, Delores Wilson-Ross; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Willard Wilson and Winnie (Moats) Wilson; her husband, Dennis V. Kelly; brother, Michael Wilson.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7,at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Alphonse Savarimuthu presiding.
