Steven Edward Campbell, age 50, of Wayland died Thursday, June 29.

He was born May 8, 1967, in Grand Rapids. He drove truck for Grand Rapids Transport for more than 17 years and was well liked and will be missed by his friends there. Steve will be remembered for his many stories and his sense of humor. He loved to listen to country music and play his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Campbell, and his grandparents, James and Gladys Dever. He is survived by his mother Mary Dever of Wayland, several aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and his dog, Buster.

In accordance to Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St. Steven’s family will meet with friends and relatives from 10 a.m. until the time of services, Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with final expenses.
