Brian Cook, age 64, of Wayland, died Thursday, June 27.

He will be missed by sons Brian and Jeremy Cook, siblings Robert (Loretta) Cook of Arizona, David (Victoria) Cook of Hastings, and Bruce (Mary) Cook of Middleville and special cousin Christine (Mark) Mol of Edmore; many nieces, nephews and friends; as well as Brenda, Shannon, Jessica and Amber.

Brian was a guy who enjoyed fishing, barbecueing and getting together with family and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Dorothy Close and his sister, Diane Cook

A family graveside service will be conducted. Memorial services will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
