She is survived by her loving children, Elaine Faber, Arla and Bob Bennett, Mary and Don Apol, Karen and Dave Vander Goot, Cal and Lisa Bakker, Tom and Denise Bakker, and Alan and Lynn Bakker, 27 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Fred Kerkstra, Anna Eldrenkamp, Rev. Louis and Geraldine Kerkstra, Clarence and Wilma Kerkstra, and sister-in-law, Alice Kerkstra.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Bakker; her son-in-law, Oscar Faber; her sisters and brothers, Sena Hendriksma, Henrietta De Haan, Ben Kerkstra, Henry Kerkstra and Geraldine Post.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Stroo Funeral Home on 68th Street and Saturday from noon to 12:45 p.m. at Moline Christian Reformed Church. A private graveside service will be in Dorr Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept 26, at Moline Christian Reformed Church, 4341 Chappell St., Moline,with Rev. Jim De Zeeuw officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Moline Christian School.
