Merle Ann Trainor, age 87, died Sunday, July 26, in Wyoming, Mich., after a short illness.

She was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Waltham, Mass., to Roland and Clara Yorston. She married Herbert Trainor, on June 6, 1951. He preceded her in death July 1995.

She is survived by her two children, Wayne (Laurie) Trainor and Linda (Steve) Trainor Lagrone; three grandchildren Shawn (Trista), Kevin (Carolyn), James (Julia); five great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Brandon, Jameson, Harper, and Noah; two nieces, Heather Bamford and Tara Bamford.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Wayland United Methodist, 200 N. Church St.
