Middle school students aid in recycling chores

Students in Cassie Peereboom’s class at Wayland Middle School have been working together with peers to empty recycling bins weekly for other teachers. This helps develop collaboration skills among peers, and helps develop the skill of following directions, which will be used in a job someday. Teachers said they appreciate having bins emptied so that they can spend more time teaching.
