Grandma’s old fashioned baked beans recipe with mixing in sauerkraut and apple sauce makes for a great side dish to go with any pork or ham dish.
Ingredients:
2 – 15 ounce cans pork and beans
1 – 14 ounce can sauerkraut rinsed and drained
1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar, I like to use the dark
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
Directions:

In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Transfer to a 2 quart baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until nice and bubbly. Enjoy!
