Moline Milling Co-op is sponsoring a Kids’ Day celebration from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 16, at the Moline Mill, 1231 Peony Ave., west of Division on 144th Avenue to Chappell then two blocks north.
Included in the day’s activities will be:
• A seed planting station with garden seeds and a tray to take home.
• A chance to meet and champion pet sheep from Smallegan Farms.
• A visit with baby goats from Autumn Acres.
• An introduction to “Dixie Chick” from Bridlecreek Farms’ chickens.
• A matching game with with farm animals and food and fiber.
• A visit with Kayden the Therapy Dog.
• A tour of field application equipment and a chance to see the inside of a grain storage bin.
• Ice cream, milk and cookies.
• Moline Co-op clothing items.
