Edward (Jim) Sawicki of Moline died Thursday, March 17. He was 85.

Jim was born in 1937 in Mancelona to Edward and Martha Sawicki. He graduated from Wyoming Park High School Class of 1955.

He served in the US Navy (Seabees) in Port Hueneme, Calif. Jim returned to Michigan with his wife Judy of 63 years and retired from Michigan Colprovia after 41 years.

He is survived by his wife Judy, children Shelly Neuhouser, Sue (Bill) Halloran and Jim (Michelle) Sawicki; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Tom (Grace) Sawicki, Judy (Ken) Walker and Dan (Barb) Sawicki.
