So here we go again. Traffic was reduced to a standstill bumper to bumper Thursday afternoon on the U.S.-131 expressway, as northbound 131 was closed from Dorr exit to 100th Street because of a rollover accident. Division then was forced to deal with all highway traffic from both directions between 84th and the Dorr exit (No. 68). The situation follows two traffic crashes Tuesday, one near the Shelbyville exit (No. 69) and the other damaging the 146th Avenue overpass north of Dorr. Authorities said the the 146th overpass is being handled by the Michigan Department of Transportation, but it has been closed indefinitely.
