Former Wayland man Ernest H. Dalrymple, age 85, died Sunday, Dec. 6,, in Grand Rapids.
Ernest was a Harley Davidson motorcycle mechanic who enjoyed motorcycling and worked in many shops around the area.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sheets; children, Renea (Larry) Williams, Sue (Ed) Skiba, Daniel (Betty) Dalrymple, Warren (Deb) Dalrymple; eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Phil (Carol) Dalrymple, Frances (Bob) Wilson, Dean Dalrymple; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert.
A memorial service and motorcycle ride will be held later in the spring.
