The NewLife Church in Wayland “Essentials Store” program no longer requires a $20 annual membership fee for its services to the community.

Jenni Vanderson, speaking on behalf of the church, said, “We no longer have an annual fee for the NewLife Essentials Store! For those of you who don’t know about us, we are a hygiene/household product pantry. I’d love to answer any questions you may have.”

The Essentials Store is similar to a pantry, only instead of food, it specializes in distributing household goods such as diapers, cleaning supplies, soap, feminine products toilet paper, laundry soap, underwear, pull-ups and other personal hygiene items.

The program was launched at 160 Pine St. in Wayland earlier this year, across the street from Pine Street Elementary.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
