Teresa Jan (Sebright) Empie of Dorr, died Sunday at the family home. She was 56.

Teresa was born in Martin Don and Joan Sebright on May 13, 1959. She graduated from Martin High School and attended Baker College in Muskegon. She married her husband, Gary, in May 1981 and spent the next 34 plus years raising four daughters, Brandy (Josh) Weekly of Canton, GA, Anne (Victor) Shultz of Dublin, CA, Jody (William) Tomlinson of Portage, Christine Empie and Zach Burns of Wayland. They also have nine grandchildren, Samantha, Collin, Caleb, Addison, Cayden, Aiden, Charlotte, Adeline and Asa Parker.

Teresa spent the largest part of her working career at ESPEC North America in Hudsonville as a customer support manager for more than 20 years

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods Grand Rapids. Per Teresa’s request there will be no visitation, but there will be an open house at the family residence for family and close friends at a later date.
