No matter that it rained on Wildcats’ cross-country parade

The rain Monday in Wayland and all of West Michigan was relentless and plentiful. After setting records for being dry in September, this one super soaker more than made up for it. Though most folks stayed indoors if they didn’t have to venture out, these and other members of the Wayland varsity girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams made a toughness statement by practicing during the showers.
