Bernard Francis Clawson Jr., age 87, died Saturday, Oct. 30, at home in Dorr.

He served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed being outdoors.

Bernie is survived many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Clawson; son, Juergen; and parents Bernard and Catherine Clawson.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Bernie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pathway Church in Byron Center.
