Charles Leon Carpenter, 65, of Gadsden, Tenn., formerly of Wayland, died July 12.

He was born May 26, 1954, to Leon carpenter and Grace Longstreet.

He is survived by his mother, Grace (Dennis) Longstreet, brothers Curt (Kathy), Scott (Cindy), Shawn Longstreet (Rose), sister Kelle Tobolic (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Carpenter.

Cremation has taken place. At his request, no service is planned.
