Ervin Byler, age 84, died Saturday, Aug. 10.

Ervin served in the Marines from 1956 to 1961. He loved to ride his bike through country roads, but most importantly, he loved to take care of his wife, Catherine.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Catherine J. Byler; daughter, Theresa Bregg; grandson, Ambrose (Sarah Schostarez) Bregg; and many other family and friends in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Byler in 2008; son-in-law, Ambrose Bregg in 2017.
