Judy DeMann died peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 10, at her home in Shelbyville. She was 78.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1947, in Portage, the daughter of Millard and Grace (Smith) Schug. For many years she worked as a housekeeper at a medical care facility until her retirement in 2012.
On June 9, 1967, at Portage Reformed Church, she married Carl DeMann, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Jamie and Tara DeMann of Allegan, Chris and Leslie DeMann of Shelbyville and Kevin and Kelly Jager of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
