The Wayland Jazz Express earned a division 1 rating (superior) at jazz festival March 12.
On Friday, Feb. 27, the high school band returned from the district festival with straight 1s (superior ratings)! They received all As in each category from each adjudicator, “and just did a tremendous job,” a spokesperson said.
