The Allegan County Sheriff’s Department Friday wrapped up its Operation Safe Stop campaign in Allegan County a program that enabled “bus shadows” to catch law-breaking motorists.
A department spokesperson saiod, “We had many parents commenting on how nice it was to see Allegan County deputies following the buses to ensure student safety. One parent we had contact with said ‘I clapped when you drove by! This was so amazing to see.’”
Anyone who knows of a bus stop/area that could use a little more attention, should let deputies know by emailing [email protected].
