Overpass on 144th Ave. to be remained closed

Allegan County public safety personnel remind area motorists that the overpass on 144th Avenue (Moline) is closed as a result of a traffic accident last week. Barricades must be left in place, and traffic will not be allowed on that overpass until the Michigan Department of Transportation determines otherwise. MDOT has assessed the bridge and plans are in development to address it. However, until those plans can be executed, the overpass remains closed for everyone’s safety.
