Paul Steven Straus, age 80, of Martin, died Saturday, Aug. 3.

Paul, son of Clarence and Mildred (Kuhtic) Straus, worked for many years for the Allegan County Road Commission.

He is survived by his brother, Clarence (Marie) Straus; nephews Ralph Straus and David (Cindy) Straus; niece, Janet (Paul) Ritenburgh; great-nephews Spencer, Kyle, Daniel & Travis Ritenburgh; special friends, Chris and Roxanne Orr; many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2036 20th St., Allegan, MI 49010. Relatives and friends may meet with Paul’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, as well as one hour prior to the service at church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paul to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
