Peereboom’s Greenhouse & Garden Center on old 131 just north of Wayland is for sale by the owner.
Peereboom’s opened its business in 1974 under George Peereboom and later was managed by his son, Casey, who sold the business several years ago. The owner has indicated on the “For Sale” sign that the sale is for 30,000-square-foot greenhouse on 40 acres with the address of 3717 Division Street.
According the web site, Peereboom’s Garden Center primarily operates in the retail nurseries and garden stores business/industry in the building materials, hardware, garden supplies and mobile homes sector, operating for approximately 43 years. “Peereboom’s Garden Center is estimated to generate $640,000 in annual revenues, and employs approximately six people at this single location.
