Private burial service planned for Janice Ohlson

Janice E. Ohlson of Allegan died Monday, Dec. 2, at the Laurels of Sandy Creek in Wayland. She was 70.

She was born Jan. 13, 1954, in Chicago, the daughter of Walter and Eleanor (Strache) Fuller. Janice worked at Pizza Palace in Elmhurst, Ill., and Deano’s in Allegan. As a young woman she enjoyed cooking and flower gardening. She also liked watching Sci-Fi movies, going to the beach and sitting in the sun.

In 1992 in Chicago, she married Dale Ohlson, who died last May. 

Surviving are her children, Vida (Steve) True, David Weith-Fuller and Richard Ohlson; grandchildren, Sam, Mazzy, Zada, Jacob and Jace and sister, Eleanor Baldwin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Arnold, Norman, Roy, Walter and Rose Marie. 

A private family burial will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta.
