James Edward Kerber, age 80 of Dorr, died Saturday, Aug. 14.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Kerber; their children Kim (Pat) Fein, Kathy (Ray) Wiersma, Kay (Mark) Teska, and Jeff (Sarah Dodgson) Kerber; nine grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Ann (Fred) Gaukel; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Elinor Kerber; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Ron Chappell; brother and sister-in-law, David “Louie” and Jan Kerber; and daughter-in-law, Debra Sue Kerber.
