Robert L. Forbes of Wayland died at the age of 81 on Thursday, Sep. 5.

Bob loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores; children, Doug (Dawn) Forbes, Dawn (David) Cook, Brad (Nancy) Forbes; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren with two more on the way; sisters and brothers, Barbara (Curt) Daniels, Karen (Jim) Welniak, Steve (Karen Dyer) Forbes, J.D. (Lani) Forbes; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Loyd) Fitch; brother-in-law, Jack Knoper; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peace Church Wayland Building Fund.
