Sandra Marian Cook (Carlson) died Sunday, July 28. She was 80.

She was born July 5, 1944 in Cadillac. Sandra married James Dean Cook in Caro, Aug. 28, 1965. She volunteered at the Barry County Jail Ministry for many years.

She also enjoyed golf, writing spiritually expressive poetry, serving as a middle school summer camp counselor, and enjoyed teaching and evangelism.

Sandra is survived by her husband, James; daughters Ginger and Robin; grandchildren Austin, Quinlyn, and Farah; brother, Ozzie; and sister, Chris.

A private family celebration of Sandra’s life will commence at a time and place to be determined.
