
The Allegan County Road Commission will have a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday at the Hopkins Township Hall, 128 S. Franklin St.
The commission will be taking comments about a proposal to designate as a natural beauty road 125th Avenue from 20th to 15th Street and 126th Avenue from 20th to 17th Street and 18the Street from 126th Avenue to a quarter mile north.
Craig Atwood, managing director for the Road Commission, said the hearing is in accordance with the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act.
In the legal notice, it was reported, “Any party or interested person may support or object to the proposed Natural Beauty Road designation…”
