The American Red Cross has announced a 35% drop in blood availability this winter, due to illnesses and winter weather. The Red Cross and the Martin chapter of the National Honor Society will sponsor a local blood drive from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, while supporting National Honor Society students. A school spokesperson said, “It’s a little over a week away, so make plans on helping us help others and donate blood!”
