Wayland resident Jesse Terry snapped this photograph just after he woke up Sunday morning, greeting the first snowfall os the 2025-26 winter season. As predicted by area meteorologists, northeast Allegan County welcomed about an inch of the white stuff, and snowfall returned early Sunday afternoon. Temperatures took a dive to the mid-thirties with lows in the twenties.
