Challenging weather conditions Wednesday morning caused a semi-truck trailer to jackknife on M-179 (129th Avenue) between Gun Lake and Bradley. The road was closed between 8th Street and 6th Street for a couple of hours for authorities to clear the scene of the crash.

Meanwhile, local school districts were shutting down early because of the weather and all evening events have been canceled.
