Florence Joan Bellgraph, age 77, or Dorr, died Tuesday, Jan. 12.
Florence worked for the last 22 years at Family Fare in Grandville. Family members said she loved life, cooking, baking, canning, traveling, joking around and laughing, but most of all, she cherished her family.
She was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She was born to her parents, John and Alma Bouterse (Schmitt) in 1938.
Florence is survived by her first husband, Russell Sturak Sr., and widowed by her second husband, Raymond Bellgraph. She leaves behind her five children, Russell Sturak, Jr., Kathryn Cramer, John (Riselia) Sturak, Paul (Lynette) Sturak, Mark (Katrina) Sturak; her step-children, Idalynn Sundstrum and Jerry Bellgraph; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sisters and brother-in-law, Agnes Fisher, Olga (Ernest) and Barrett; sister-in-law, Anna Bouterse. Her best friend of 63 years, Lois Blain, also survives her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and also by her siblings, Charlotte (Bouterse) Theeringer, Alma (Bouterse) DeYoung, John Bouterse.
Funeral services with be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (2 Michigan St, NE, Grand Rapids, 49503). Visitation will be at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, 49546) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park.
