5362974_300x300Donald Herp, age 62 of Salem Township, died Friday, Oct. 23.

Don was a graduate of Hopkins High School. He was very involved and served as a treasurer on the board with the Michigan Flywheeler’s Museum in South Haven.

Don is survived by his wife, Sally; his daughters: Carrie (Dar) Caskey, Lisa (Forrest) Tramper, Stacy (John) Foster; his step-son Bryan Westfahl; his grandchildren: Brandi Westfahl, Carissa and Ella Caskey; his great-grandson Leevigh Westfahl; his mother Gertrude Herp; his brothers and sisters: Robert (Carol) Herp, Dick (Jan) Herp, Jack (Kay) Herp, Debbie (Ray) Jablonski, and Kathy (Duane) Smith; his sister-in-law Mary Herp and Sandy Sisk; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Herp, and his brothers, Carl and Dennis Herp.

Friends may visit with Don’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26,at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Dorr Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow at Burnips Cemetery.
