John R. Van Goor, age 86, of Dorr,died Tuesday, March 24.
John loved to camp and spend time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; daughter-in-law, Gayle Van Goor; grandson, Markus Van Goor; and sister, Yvonne Van Goor. John survived by his children, Brian(Shera) Van Goor, Bruce Van Goor, Brent (Cindy) Van Goor, and Julie (Richard)Pepper; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and brother, Lyle (Lois)Van Goor.
The family will greet visitors at Moline Christian Reformed Church,4341 Chappell St., Saturday, March 28, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior the service which will begin at noon. Pastor Willem DeVries will officiate. Interment will be in Dorr Cemetery.
