Judith K. Smith, age 75 of Gun Lake, died Thursday, April 30, at Rose Arbor Hospice Home.
Judy was a pharmacist and worked for Family Health, Northland Pharmacy, Walgreens, and Weicks until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of the Gun Lake Federation Women’s Club.
Judy enjoyed the outdoors and time spent with her family and friends. She loved gardening, running, tennis, golf, shopping, and her time at Gun Lake.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Doyle Smith; her daughters: Jodie Groppel, Holly (Julie Neumark) Lucille, and Heidi (Chris) Rehm; her grandchildren: Connor Abendroth, Shen Groppel, Montana Rehm, and Sierra Rehm; her sister Karen (Ed) Goodman; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her brother Tim Niebel and her parents William and Lucille Niebel.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held June 6, with the location and time to be determined later.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy’s memory to Gun Lake Federation of Women’s Clubs.
