Sharon Kay Shoemaker, 83, of Orangeville, died Friday, Nov. 21.
Sharon was born on April 3, 1942, and graduated from South Christian High School. Sharon was a nurse for 52 years, retiring in 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dennis Shoemaker; her children: Steve (son) and Dawn, Tim and Dawn (daughter), Marcia (daughter) and Mike, and Keri (daughter) and Newton; and Dennis’ children: Aaron, Tammy, and Michele (Joe). She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by son, David, and granddaughter, Sharon Gruss .
Sharon enjoyed spending time with family and friends she loved dearly.
Sharon and Dennis were members of the Grand A’s Model A Club where they made countless memories and friends together.
Dennis and family have planned a celebration of life for Sharon Saturday, Nov. 29, at Martin Reformed Church. Visitation with family is set for 10 a,m, with the service at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow at the church.
