He also went on many fishing trips to Canada with his brother, Haldon, as well as  enjoying many trips to Wilderness State Park with his family

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Virginia Mauchmar; his children Kim (Scott) Paff, Karmin (Wayne) Bourdo, Jerry (Traci) Mauchmar Jr., and Jennifer (RJ) Foster; grandchildren Ryan Paff, Kayla Paff, Josh Paff, Nicole (Pat) Milanowski, Jordan (Shalyn Phillips) Bourdo, Tyler (Matraca Tolan) Bourdo, Zachary Woodman, Dalton Mauchmar, Elizabeth Woodman, Ivy Mauchmar, Jasmine Foster, Nate Foster, and Lilly Foster; great-grandchildren Olivia, Elliot, Masson, Julianah, Carson, Mike, Riley, and Brayden; brother-in-law, Ron Predum, and sister-in-law, Esther Mauchmar; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Pauline Mauchmar; siblings Haldon Mauchmar, Carole Kent, Marilyn Predum, and Carl Mauchmar.

A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 17, at Martin United Methodist Church – 969 E Allegan St., Martin, with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
