Beverly J. Mead, age 83, of Moline, died Saturday, Sept. 10.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kendall; her children, Renee (Robert) Bilski, Dennis (Debra Perryman) Mead, Kendall (Julia) Mead Jr., Shannon (Todd) Medendorp; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. Rev. Stephen DeKok will officiate. Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions to the Salvation Army, Wings of Hope Hospice or Mel Trotter Ministries.
